I'm really keen to rear some calves. Wouldn't have a clue where to start. Can anyone help and offer some advice please.

Cheers

Hi bbm

Live and work near Rangiora, Nth Canterbury.

Have brought six Fresian bull calves from a local dairy farmer, and he advised milk powder. So far so good I think.
Would be keen to hear any tips you have to offer.
Cheers Happy

only one main thing you need to remember DON'T overfeed them 10% of liveweight 2x per day so 40kg calf gets 4 litres per day usually in 2 feeds.
,have some electrollytes on hand for scours.
