Tree Topping

This machine has been designed and built to handle trees that other hedge trimmers can't or won't even try, starting with its specially made saw blade which is 1600mm across and hardened steel. Because of its revolving blade weight, it cuts through most large branches and trees in one slice.

Starting a Flock of Sheep
Posted 8 Nov 11
Hi there,

I am 19 and are wanting to start my own small flock of sheep on about 10 acres of land near Akaroa. This will be a hobby as well as hopefully making a small amount of money to aid me with my tertiary studies.

I don't have much of an idea how to begin; that is my issue. I really need some information/tips on which breed to farm, how/when to buy, when/where to sell, how many animals I should purchase, etc etc.

I am no city slicker; I have been around farms for a lot of my life, but never had any money or anything invested. I love the lifestyle and feel this would be a fun little project/hobby on the side of my tertiary studies.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Scott
